Welcome to Jack's Website..
Update 2008: Well its been one year since Jack left us and we still think of him daily. He was thier during a lot of difficult times in our lives and was always able to put a smile on our faces. To think you would be 3 1/2 years old by now, we wouldn't be training a new puppy and dealing with all the Puppy fun. We got a new dog name Jack Junior, JJ or just JR, he's got really big shoes to fill, but has already stolen our hearts. Make sure you keep an eye on JR for us Jack.
We miss and will always love you Jack..
Update 2007: Jack was put to sleep this morning 1/26/07 at 10:20ish. He had been trying to fight cancer for the last three weeks, but he's probably been fighting it all along. He was actually still excited and wagging his tail when we mentioned the words "car ride" when we left for the vet this morning. Jack had a hard time breathing through the night and the decision was made to have him put to sleep the next day. Making that call to the vet was probably the hardest thing I've had to do in all of my 27 years. He went peacefully and with out pain. Jack was loved by all and warmed up anyone he came into contact with. He changed the opinions of a lot of people on what a American Staffordshire Terrier / Pitbull was, for the good. He will be missed dearly at our household as he was like a kid to us. A kid that we never got to see grow up.
We wanted to say a special thanks to Dr. Brooks and all the other Vets, all the techs, and receptionist at the Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency Service for all their support / help through the ordeal. We also want to thank our Vet Dr. Berghash, Dr. Ziamba, the techs and receptionists at the Scottsville / Spencerport Veterinary Clinic for all the help since Jack was a puppy till now. With out you people we would have been lost. Thanks again for all that you do for our animals.
We miss you Jack and you will always be remembered... (you knucklehead)
Thanks --Craig and Laurie
